FC Porto finally tasted defeat in the Liga Portugal 2025/26.

On Monday (2), in the match that concluded the 20th round of the Portuguese Championship, the Dragons were surprised by Casa Pia, who won 2-1.

The hosts were lethal in the first half, with Larrazabal opening the scoring by taking advantage of Porto's defensive lapse.

Then, the Brazilian Thiago Silva, in an unfortunate play, ended up deflecting the ball into his own net, increasing the hosts' lead before halftime.

In the second half, FC Porto tried to react. The team increased the pressure and managed to reduce the deficit with Rosario, reigniting the hope of maintaining their unbeaten run.

However, the goal was not enough to avoid the setback, which was sealed in the final minutes with the expulsion of William Gomes, leaving the Dragons one man down at a crucial moment.

Benfica, in third place with 46 points, remains the last unbeaten team in the Portuguese Championship.

Even so, the blue and white team remains the isolated leader, with 55 points, although they have seen Sporting close in, now with 51 points, heating up the title race.

Porto and Sporting, in fact, will face each other next Saturday (9), for the 21st round of Liga Portugal.

For Casa Pia, the victory is worth more than three points. The team reached 18 points, rose to 15th place, and gained important momentum in the fight against relegation, celebrating a night that will certainly be remembered in the club's history.
