Tijjani Reijnders warns Arsenal that Man City are out to end their quadruple dreams
Manchester City want to start winning trophies again following last season's dismal campaign - and will have a chance to get their first against Arsenal next month
Tijjani Reijnders has warned Arsenal that Manchester City are on a mission to ruin their quadruple dream, while keeping their own bid to land a historic four trophies alive.
Pep Guardiola's men will clash with bitter enemies Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final next month, to do battle for the first silverware of the season. City booked a date at Wembley with their title rivals after sweeping Newcastle aside 5-1 on aggregate in the semis.
Both clubs are still competing on all four fronts heading into the final few months of the campaign. And Reijnders has told Arsenal that City are more hungry than ever to take them down and win what he reckons could be a first trophy of many between now and June.
Reijnders said: "It means a lot to get to the final. It's a step closer to the trophy and we are very hungry. "It can give us a lot of confidence and an extra boost if we win that one - and we are ready. It can give us a really good boost, but first we have to win it, of course."

He added: "It would be nice for me, personally, to win my first trophy here at Manchester City, so it's amazing.
"It's another dream coming true. Of course when I was a kid and I saw the finals there I always dreamed of it, so now I will go there. I can't wait.
"You see the pictures at our training ground (of previous successes), for example, and you want to achieve it as well. That gives you that extra motivation.
"They (Treble winning players) will help us for sure, us new guys. They will tell us their experiences as well and that will help us of course."
